The Nigeria Football Federation technical committee will meet in Abuja next week Tuesday to appoint coaches for at least four of Nigeria’s national teams.

Chairman Technical Committee, Chris Green who disclosed this stated that he hopes that they would be able to recommend quality coaches to the NFF Executive Committee for approval.

“We are meeting on Tuesday in Abuja and on the front burner will be the choice of coaches for national teams among other important issues. I think we should be able to screen the CVs of the coaches who applied to handle the various national and forward the names of the successful ones to the NFF executive committee for approval.

“We have quite a number of applications from coaches who want to tinker the Super Falcons, the Flying Eagles, Falconnets and the Flamengoes, and I want to tell you that we shall be very thorough in the screening and selection so to pick the best” said the Rivers FA boss

He disclosed that interim coaches would be appointed to oversee Super Falcons’ double header friendly matches against Japan next month

Coaches who have applied for the jobs included Ladan Bosso, Ben Iroha, Dan Evumena, Edwin Okon, Peter Dedevu, Kabiru Balaria, Ann Chiejina and a host of others.
