Sequel to the qualification of four teams for the final 4 playoff of the DSTV basketball league, Nigeria Basketball Federation has released dates for the grand finale.
According to Patrick Omorodion, member of Basketball Federation who also doubles as the Federation’s media officer, the Federation in conjunction with the league sponsors will address the media soon.
“The Federation and sponsors of the league will address a joint press conference prior to the season ending events”
He says the play-offs events will be one that will be all encompassing as they have a lineup of events.
“On September 3, there will be press briefing in Lagos, on the 4th we will have clinic for invited secondary schools and demonstration game by selected sides”
Continuing he said “September 5, there will be All Star Game to be preceded by 3 point shooting and Slam Dunk contests while September 6-8 will be the final 4 show down between the four teams who have qualified for the play offs.
Kano Pillars and Mark Mentors qualified from the Savannah conference while Union Bank and Dodan Warriors made it from the Atlantic conference.
