A yet-to-be-identified woman, suspected to be a caregiver, was caught on video using cellotape to seal the mouth of a toddler.
The 40-second clip, obtained by Prompt News, showed the woman seemingly unfazed by the child’s cries and obvious displeasure.
In the video, the woman laughs hysterically while speaking in Yoruba, saying, “I pity your situation. If not, I would have sealed your mouth. Be quiet so your mother can see how you’re troubling me.”
At the time of fillung this report, we have not been able to confirm the location of the incident.
