Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen is in the news for the wrong reason after a journalist in Turkey alleged that he assaulted him and also threatened him.
Tolga Bozduman, who works with Turkish media outlet Posta alleged that the striker acted violently towards him when he photographed him.
“I filmed Osimhen as he was leaving, I was with three colleagues,” recounted the journalist.
“When the flashes went off, he went berserk, he ran towards me screaming,tried to take my camera but I didn’t let him and he punched me. It still hurts.
“Then he started swearing and said to me: ‘destroy the photos, I’ll give you the money’.
“I refused and he threatened me: ‘I will destroy you’”.
