Chelsea continued their struggles as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Crystal Palace at the Selhurst Park.
Cole Palmer gave the Blues a well deserved lead in the 14th minute.
The England international fired in an angled shot after fine work on the left by Jadon Sancho.
Prompt News reports that Chelsea had chances to seal the win, but failed to convert them.
Jean-Philippe Mateta then equalised for Palace eight minutes from time.
The draw leaves Enzo Maresca’s side in fourth place, one point ahead of in-form Newcastle United, who sit just outside the Champions League spots in fifth after their win over Tottenham Hotspur earlier in the day.
Crystal Palace are 15th, six points ahead of Ipswich Town who are in the highest of the three relegation positions and travel to Fulham on Sunday.
