Liverpool stayed unbeaten in this season’s UEFA Champions League courtesy of a 1-0 win at Girona on Tuesday.
Mohamed Salah’s second half penalty separated both teams on the night, Prompt News reports.
The Egypt international slotted home on 63rd minute after Luis Diaz was fouled inside the box.
It was Girona’s fifth defeat of the competition.
The hosts, who sat back for most of the evening had chances to take the lead in the opening half but were foiled by goalkeeper Alisson.
A sixth win from six keeps Liverpool top of the league phase standings on 18 points.
