Former participant of Big Brother Naija, Kess Adjekpovu has received some strong backlashes from Wizkid FC after he commented on Wizkid’s new album, Morayo.
The Grammy-winning star launched this album in the early morning of 22nd of November, 2024, as a tribute to his deceased mother.
The album consists of 16 songs and features collaborations with popular artists such as Brent Faiyaz, Jazmine Sullivan, and Asake from YBNL. Notably, one song includes an intro by the iconic K1 De Ultimate.
Many Nigerians, along with some celebrity friends, expressed their opinions on Wizkid’s Morayo album on social media.
A BBNaija season 7 contestant shared a short post on X, saying he attempted to listen to the album but ended up falling asleep.
“Decided to listen to MORAYO. SLEEP CATCH ME.”
After receiving backlash, Kess expressed that he believes the song will grow on him eventually.
“UP AND GRATEFUL. MORAYO STILL NEVER SWEET ME. I guess it can’t grow on me.”
