Rwanda head coach, Torsten Spittler says the Amavubi will do their best to beat the Super Eagles.
The East Africans will face the Super Eagles in a make or mar 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Monday (today).
The Amavubi need maximum points from the game to have any chance of making it to Morocco 2025.
They will also need Benin Republic to lose against Libya in the other group game.
“It’s clear that if we must go to AFCON 2025, we’ll have to win here [against the Super Eagles],” Spittler told a press conference in Uyo.
“So, that’s our mission here. I’m expecting an interesting match against Nigeria, and we’ll have to fight until the last minute.”
The encounter will kick-off at 5pm.
