Agboola Ajayi, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, is yet to cast his vote as of 10 am in the ongoing governorship election in Ondo State.
However, voting exercise is currently underway at his polling unit 004, Idumado Apoi 11, Kiribo, Ese-Odo Local Government Area of the state.
Agboola, who is one of the leading candidates in the ongoing election, is contesting against the incumbent Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and 15 other candidates from different political parties.
Agboola, who also served as deputy governor to the late Akeredolu, left the APC for the opposition PDP, citing irreconcilable differences with Akeredolu.
After losing the PDP primary to Jegede in 2020, he joined the ZLP to challenge Akeredolu in the 2020 gubernatorial election. – TRIBUNE ONLINE
