Rivers United head coach, Finidi George, is already looking forward to the top-of-the-table clash against leaders Remo Stars in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) this Sunday.
After an impressive start to the campaign which saw Finidi’s men sew up a nine-match unbeaten streak, they have now faltered in their last two matches including a shock one-nil loss at home to South-south rivals Bayelsa United.
The Rivers United coach knows that having gone winless in their last three matches (D1 L2), his side will need to “get back on track” when they go up against Remo Stars.
The former Super Eagles head coach has also decided to put their recent poor run behind them and ensure his team are focused on this Sunday’s big game by making “adjustments.”
“We will get back, we will see where to make that adjustments and get the players back. Sometimes things like this happen. We have to get back on track because we are facing Remo Stars next in the league,” Finidi said.
Rivers United will square up against Remo Stars in their next game in Ikenne.
