Gov. Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau has approved the implementation of N70,000 Minimum Wage for workers in the state.
Mr Stephen Pam, the Head of Service (HoS) of the state, made this known in a statement on Thursday in Jos.
Pam said that the approval followed the agreement by the Committee on Consequential Adjustment on Salaries signed on Nov. 13.
He said that the move demonstrates government’s commitment toward the welfare and wellbeing of workers in the state.
The HoS called on all workers in the state to be more committed and dedicated toward the discharge of their duties.(NAN).
