Nigerian indigenous rapper Oladipupo Oladimeji, popularly known as Oladips, is currently trending on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), due to a resurfaced report about his death in 2023.
Last year, he gained attention when his management announced he had passed away after struggling with an illness for two years.
“We are saddened to inform the general public that Oladipupo Olabode Oladimeji, aka Oladips, passed away yesterday, November 14, Tuesday evening,” the statement read in part.
Just after Nigerians shared their grief on social media, a new report said he was actually alive, claiming he had been dead for three days before returning to life.
This situation led to Oladips being called Lazarus, and Nigerians have kept teasing him since.
Now, on the one-year anniversary of the event, Nigerians are once again targeting Oladips.
