Benin Republic head coach Gernot Rohr has said his team have the quality to cope with the absence of injured players in their upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches.
The Cheetahs will miss the services of four key players; Cedric Hountondji, Olivier Verdon, Matteo Ahlinvi and David Kiki for the crucial games.
Rohr’s side will take on the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Mediterranean Knights of Libya on Thursday and next week Monday respectively.
The gaffer said he has capable replacements for the injured quartet.
“We are missing key players but we will do without them. In the axis we would have liked to have Cedric and Olivier with us but they are not here,” he was quoted by Joueurs Beninois.
The former Gabon coach has failed to call-up replacements for the injured players.
