American rapper Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, popularly known as Cardi B, has been hospitalized due to a medical emergency.
The artist, who gave birth to her third child with her former spouse Offset last month, revealed that she has been receiving treatment in the hospital for several days. This information was shared through a statement on her social media accounts.
As a result of her health issues, she has had to cancel her upcoming performance at the One Music Fest.
While Cardi B did not specify the nature of her medical condition, she expressed her commitment to returning in a stronger state.
“I am so sad to share this news, but I’ve been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency the last couple of days and I won’t be able to perform at One Music Fest. It breaks my heart that I won’t get to see my fans this weekend and I really wish I could be there. Bardi Gang-thank you for understanding and I’ll be back better and stronger soon. Don’t worry. Love y’all,” she wrote.
