The Tony Okocha-led secretariat of the Rivers State All Progressives Congress (APC) along Aba Road, Port Harcourt, has been rocked by an explosion.
CHANNELS TELEVISION reports that the explosion which occurred Saturday morning destroyed buildings and other property.
The gate of the secretariat and the doors were shattered by the explosion.
Prompt News reports that local government elections are holding in the state today (Saturday) despite controversy surrounding it.
As at the time of filing this report, accreditation and voting has started in many polling centres around Port Harcourt City.
