A total of 260 Tunisian nationals are scheduled to be repatriated from Lebanon on Tuesday aboard a flight operated by Tunisair, the Tunisian embassy in Lebanon said.
The embassy announced on its official Facebook page that the special flight would accommodate Tunisians in Lebanon who have voluntarily requested to return due to the escalating and dangerous situation in the country.
The embassy noted that it received 404 reservation requests for the flight, but priority would be given to students, displaced individuals, and those in precarious situations, particularly those still in high-risk areas in southern Lebanon.
Additionally, Tunisians without family support or those with health issues would also receive priority, the embassy added. (Xinhua/NAN).
