The Embassy of Israel in Nigeria has donated 10 portable Industrial Water Purifying machines to Borno Government to assist victims of flood in the state.
The embassy made the donation on Friday in Abuja under the aegis of MASHAV, an Israeli humanitarian aid, and Centre for International Cooperation to assist countries striving to alleviate shared global problems.
Israel Ambassador to Nigeria, Michael Freeman, while making the donation, said that the gesture was to offer aid to the victims of flood.
Freeman, also Permanent Representative of Israel to ECOWAS, said that Israeli people and government had seen the floods and terrible human suffering caused by natural disaster.
