Victor Olatunji made history as the first Nigerian to score and registered an assist on his maiden UEFA Champions League appearance.
Sparta Prague defeated Salzburg 3 – 0 in the encounter.
Olatunji is also the third African to achieve the feat following the footsteps of Gabon’s Daniel Cousin and Serge Aurier.
The 25-year-old is also the first Nigerian to score in the revamped edition of the UEFA Champions League.
The forward scored Sparta Prague’s second goal of the game three minutes before the break.
Olatunji then teed up Qazim Laçi for Sparta Prague’s third goal two minutes before the half hour mark.
He was replaced by Albion Rrahmani in the 64th minute.
