Cheetahs of Benin Republic head coach, Gernot Rohr has named a “deadly squad” for his side’s upcoming clash with the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
The German included 25 players in the squad that will also face the Mediterranean Knights of Libya.
The reliables including captain Steve Mounie, Jodel Dossou and veteran goalkeeper Saturnin Allagbe were included by Rohr.
There is also places for centre-back Cedric Hountondji and enterprising midfielder Junior Olaitan.
Lokomotiv Sofia striker Steve Traore has also earned a recall to the team.
He last featured for his country in November 2023.
The Cheetahs will be the guests of Super Eagles at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Saturday, September 7.
The West Africans will host the Mediterranean Knights of Libya three days later in Abidjan.
