Nigerian singer Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, continues to mourn the loss of his mother, Mrs. Jane Morayo Balogun in a new featured song with Asake, “MMS.”
In his verse, Wizkid reflects on the profound impact of his mother’s death, sharing that he “lost” himself but eventually found his purpose.
In the song,he sang; “You no fit run from who you area”
“Man, wetin go be, man, is cast in stone&….”
“Why mama leave me, yeah, e no long”
“Lost myself and I found my purpose”
“Yeah, everyday, I know that I’m blessed…”
“Nothing man no face, vibe today”
“This kind thing, say na life we dey,”
The new song “MMS” is track number two on Asake’s new album titled “Lungu Boy”.
Lungu Boy is Asake’s 3rd studio album, it was dropped on Friday, 9th of August.
