Nigerian singer, Yemi Alade, has revealed how she manages her music career without having controversies in the entertainment industry.
The singer explained that she lives her life on her own terms and doesn’t allow people’s opinions or criticisms affect her.
While speaking at the listening party of her new album, ‘Rebel Queen’ in Lagos, the 35-year-old music star said she handles negative comments and unsolicited opinions by simply ignoring them.
She said, “I don’t think about it (negative criticisms) too much. I’m just living my life because it’s only one life I have.
“Once I see or hear anything that doesn’t resonate with me I look the other way and I keep it moving. Because everybody is entitled to their opinions.”
However, it is important to note that Yemi Alade is one of the few entertainer with little or no controversies over the years.
