A Badagry Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos on Monday remanded a 71-year-old man, Dumashi Sabo, who pleaded guilty to defiling a 120year-old girld be remanded in the Nigerian Correctional Centre.
Chief Magistrate Patrick Adekomaiya gave the order following a guilty plea entered by Sabo.
Adekomaiya adjourned the case until July 15 for facts and sentencing.
The prosecution counsel, Insp. Ayodele Adeosun said that the defendant committed the offence on July 1, at about 2.00.p.m at Zongo, Seme Border, Badagry, Lagos.
Adeosun said that the defendant defiled the girl.
According to the prosecutor, the offence, contravenes the provisions of Sections 261 and 263 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State 2015. (NAN) READ ALSO:
