Nigeria Premier Football League side, Rivers United, Wednesday, unveiled Finidi George as the new Head Coach.
The coach was unveiled by Rivers United’s General Manager, Okey Kpalukwu at the club’s secretariat in Port Harcourt.
Finidi, 54, takes charge from long-serving tactician Stanley Eguma.
Eguma was sacked by the Pride of Rivers towards the end of last season due to poor results.
Rivers United finished in disappointing eighth position in the NPFL last season.
Finidi previously managed Enyimba in the NPFL.
