Turkish club Trabzonspor want to keep Nigeria forward Paul Onuachu for another season.
Onuachu spent last season on loan at Trabzonspor from Southampton.
The former KRC Genk star registered 19 goal involvements in 21 league appearances to help Trabzonspor qualified for the UEFA Europa League.
Trabzonspor president Ertugal Dogan disclosed they are negotiating with Southampton for Onuachu.
“Paul Onuachu conveyed that he wanted to stay on our team in the meeting he had with us and our coach,” Dogan was quoted by 61Saat.
“The player also conveyed this request to his own club. We want to loan him and the talks are ongoing. We also have alternatives regarding the center forward. READ ALSO:

“It is not that we will only buy one center forward, maybe we will buy two. We want to add Onuachu to our squad on loan again. This transfer seems like it will take a while.”
