A section of Dangote petroleum refinery located in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos State, was on fire, Wednesday.
The fire that broke out at the $20 billion refinery has however been contained.
Anthony Chiejina, the Chief Corporate Communication Officer of Dangote Group, in a statement said the fire broke out at the effluent treatment plant.
“We have swiftly contained a minor fire incident at our effluent treatment plant (ETP), today Wednesday 26th of June.
“There is no cause for alarm as the refinery is operating and there is no recorded injury or body harm to all our staff on duty,” Chiejina said. READ ALSO:
