Atalanta winger Ademola Lookman was satisfied with the outcome of La Dea’s encounter against Marseille on Thursday night.
The Serie A club were held to a 1-1 draw by the home team at the Orange Velodrome.
Gianluca Scamacca’s early strike was cancelled by Congo international Chancel Mbemba.
Lookman believed Gian Piero Gasperini’s side are well placed ahead of the reverse fixture next week Thursday.
“We started off with a good goal, a good start, we went 1-0 up. They obviously got their goal 1-1. So it was a pretty even game,” the 27-year-old told UEFA’s official website. READ ALSO:

“They had chances, we had chances. Ultimately 1-1 away from home is a positive result so next game we’ll look to hopefully be in the final.”
The winner will face either Bayer Leverkusen or AS Roma in the final of the UEFA Europa League.
