Super Eagles interim head coach, George Finidi has said it is important for his side to put up a good performance in their upcoming friendlies against Ghana and Mali.
The Super Eagles will take on Black Stars of Ghana at the Grande Stade de Marrakech on Friday.
The former African champions will also be up against Mali at the same venue next week Tuesday.
Finidi stated that they must strive to win fans confidence by going all out for a win in the two games.
“We want to make them (Nigerians) proud,” Finidi said on NFF TV. READ ALSO:

“AFCON is gone so this are two games that are very crucial for Nigeria so we will take it seriously and get the best out of this games.”
Looking ahead to his first game in charge, he said:”As a coach there’s responsibility and that’s what we do, have to be calm and do the job and do it properly because a lot of Nigerians are watching.”
