According to Frank Hubert, “the beginning of knowledge is the discovery of something we do not understand”.
George Bernard Shaw, in one of his numerous popular quotes also put that, “beware of false knowledge, it is more dangerous than ignorance”.
By the above sayings, there is no gainsaying that, half knowledge and half information are both banes of human growth and development, especially, when the public sees or has a perception of such an individual.
The pieces of disjointed half knowledge and information constructed by one omata blog with the tag “SPORTS MINISTER: THE PROBLEM OF NIGERIA IN THE ALL AFRICA GAMES IN GHANA” is a clear indication that, the article posted without a byline is a product of underbridge discussion.
The said statement of indigestion, not in any way described as an article, is without comment it so wanted from left thinking like minds. It is nothing but absolute lies and lies.
Since his assumption as the Minister of Sports Development, Senator John Eno, hasn’t portrayed perfection, as no human is. However, he has clearly from every of his steps and actions displayed his patriotism and love for athletes and officials, who are key stakeholders in sports.
The said somethingblog, didn’t know or couldn’t get its comprehension rules well, or at best failed in its journalistic voyage to tell the world of the outcome of the minister’s various parley and meetings with the athletes that have so far translated to medal haul at the ongoing Gams in Ghana. For the benefit of the half-knowledged blog, the Minister in one of his meetings with the Athletes reiterated his commitment towards athletes welfare and motivation.
Not a word of truth on oat taken or undertaken by athletes as described or put by the said somethingblog. Ever happened and won’t understand Senator John Enoh. Athletes are well kitted and highly motivated as representatives of our dear country, Nigeria.
The payment of the athletes, which in the past has posited mistrust in the hearts of the athletes is now direct from the Apex Bank, the Central Bank of Nigeria. Their details, compiled and sent. The somethingblog failed to state this. Not surprising.
A poorly cooked food has no praise singer on the dinning set. Omata is in dire need of one. But, wouldn’t it be right and just to re-enroll for a foundational course on news gathering and writing?
The attention of the Minister, is not and can’t be on that somethingblog. It was necessary to canvass a training for omata.
What Senator John Enoh is fully focused on is Nigeria, the green and white flag flown high beyond the 2nd position it finished during the last All African Games.
