Victor Osimhen made history as the third Napoli player to score 10 or more goals for four consecutive seasons after netting a hat-trick in the Partenopei’s 6-1 rout of Sassuolo on Wednesday night.
Osimhen equaled the previous feat set by the legendary Diego Armando Maradona and Attila Sallustro.
Sallustro achieved the feat between 1929/30 and 1932/33).
Maradona equaled the feat between 1984 and 1988.
Osimhen scored 10 goals in 24 league games in his first season (2020/21) at Napoli.
The striker followed it up with 14 goals in 27 league outings the following season. READ ALSO:

Last season he netted 26 times in 32 league appearances.
Osimhen has registered 11 goals in 15 league appearances for the reigning African champions this term.
