The Super Falcons of Nigeria held the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon to a 0-0 draw in the first leg of their 2024 Olympic Games third round qualifying fixture in Douala on Friday.

The hosts were the better side in the first half and were denied twice by Chiamaka Nnadozie.
Talismanic forward, Asisat Oshoala also came close to breaking the deadlock for Nigeria twice.
Super Falcons head coach, Randy Waldrum made two substitutions after the break.
Jennifer Echegini and Esther Okoronkwo came in for Halimat Ayinde and Toni Payne .
Substitute Echegini had the ball in the net in the 54th minute but it was ruled out for offside.
Oshoala also wasted another good chance for Nigeria on 64 minutes.
Desperate to the break the deadlock, Waldrum made another double substitution 19 minutes from time.
This time around, Rofiat Imuran and Rinsola Babajide took the place of Michelle Alozie and Asisat Oshoala.
Ifeoma Onumonu also came in Deborah Abiodun late on.
The changes failed to yield any positive fruit as the Super Falcons failed to find the winner. READ ALSO;

The two teams will clash again in the reverse fixture at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja next week Monday.
