A Chief Magistrates’ Court in Ikorodu, Lagos State, on Thursday, ordered the remand of two juveniles who allegedly conspired to defile a 10-year-old girl.
The minors are charged with three counts of conspiracy and felony, to wit, defilement.

The Chief Magistrate, Mrs A.B Olagbegi-Adelabu, who did not take the pleas of the minors ,ordered that they should be remanded in a juvenile correctional centre in Lagos.
The magistrate adjourned the case until March 26 for hearing, legal advice from the Lagos State Director of Public Prosecutions.
Earlier, the prosecution counsel, Mrs Olawunmi Osibanjo, told the court that the juveniles committed the offence in Dec.9, 2023.

Osibanjo alleged that the they committed the offence at at No 69, Olori-Omobolanle Street, Ebuwawa Owutu area of Ikorodu in Lagos.
She said that the offence contravened the provisions of Section 411, 137 and 137 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State. (NAN)
