Super Eagles stars, William Troost-Ekong, Ola Aina and Ademola Lookman have been named in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations Best X1.
Troost-Ekong and Aina were recognised for their defensive prowess in competition.
Centre-back William Troost-Ekong, who was named Player of the Tournament scored three goals for the Super Eagles in Cote d’Ivoire.
Aina featured in all of Nigeria’s six games in the competition.
Atalanta winger Ademola Lookman scored three goals for the Super Eagles at the AFCON 2023 finals.
Hosts Cote d’Ivoire, the new African champions, have three players named in the Best Xl.

South Africa’s Rowen Williams and Teboho Mokoena also made the selection as well as Congo Democratic Republic duo, Yoane Wissa and Chancel Mbemba.
