The Super Eagles secured a place in the final of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations following a 4-2 penalty shootout win against South Africa.
Both teams battled to a 1-1 draw after 120 minutes of thrilling football action.
The Super Eagles struggled in the opening minutes with Bafana Bafana taking control of the game.
Percy Tau and Sekotori Makgopa both came close for South Africa in the first half.
William Troost-Ekong put Nigeria ahead from the spot on 67 minutes.
South Africa fought back with Teboho Mokoena netting the equaliser three minutes from time.
The game went into penalty after 120 minutes with Nigeria prevailing.
The Super Eagles will face the winner of the second semi-final between hosts Cote d’Ivoire and Democratic Republic of Congo in the final on Sunday
