The on-going Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cote d’Ivoire has zoomed into the round of 16 stage, with mouth watering clashes set to start on Saturday.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that as the boys have been separated from the men as 16 teams have advanced to the knockout stage out of the 24 teams that started the race.

Under dogs Equatorial Guinea and Cape Verde have been scintillating, shocking their more fancied power houses in African football to top their respective groups.
Four-time champions Ghana and 2019 champions Algeria were all bundled out by less fancied opponents, in a tournament that is building up to be for the underdogs.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria who finished as Group A runners-up, behind giant killing Equatorial Guinea, will play arch rivals Cameroon on Saturday in the knock out round.
