OGC Nice forward Terem Moffi has been called-up to replace injured Victor Boniface in Nigeria’s squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Boniface will miss the competition as a result of groin injury he sustained in training.
Moffi is expected to join the Eagles in Cote d’Ivoire, t pending approval from CAF and release of the player by his French club.
Boniface will now fly back to Germany where Bayer Leverkusen medics will take care of the groin injury sustained in training that will sideline him for several weeks. READ ALSO:

Moffi was a shock omission from the Super Eagles final squad.
He has scored four goals in 12 appearances for the three-time African champions.
