Leicester City midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi is expected to be sidelined for around three months with injury.
The Foxes manager, Enzo Maresca provided an update on the Nigeria international’s fitness level ahead of his side’s Emirates FA Cup clash with Millwall.
“Probably for Wilf, it will be a long time,” Maresca told reporters.
“It could be three months. It looks like a muscular problem, but an important one, so we will see in the next hours but the situation for Wilf is probably the clearest one.”
The 26-year-old has already been replaced in Nigeria’s squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations as a result of the setback.
