Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze will join Nigeria’s Africa Cup of Nations preparatory camp on January 3.
That will be a day later than the initial camp opening on January 2, 2024.
The delay is due to an agreement between AC Milan and the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), allowing Chukwueze to participate in AC Milan’s game against Cagliari on January 2.
Chukwueze was named in Nigeria’s squad for the 2023 AFCON finals by head coach, Jose Peseiro on Friday.
The Algerian Football Federation turned down AC Milan’s request to also hold on to midfielder Ismael Bennacer for the game.

He was part of Super Eagles squad at AFCON 2019 and AFCON 2021.
