The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has unveiled Super Eagles’ provisional squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
41 players were included in the list submitted by head coach, Jose Peseiro.
Only three home-based players were named on the list by Peseiro.
They are goalkeepers: Ojo Olorunleke, Amas Obasogie and Christian Nwoke make the list.
Captain Ahmed Musa and his deputy, William Troost-EKong were also included.
Peseiro is expected to prune down the list to 27 players latest January 3, 2024.
The Super Eagles are drawn in Group A with hosts Cote d’Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea and Guinea-Bissau for the 2023 AFCON finals. READ ALSO:
