Rivers United head coach Stanley Eguma blamed his team’s poor marksmanship for their defeat to Dreams FC in Sunday’s CAF Confederation Cup clash.
Dreams FC were running away 2-0 winners before Alex Oyowah halved the deficit in stoppage time.
The Ghana FA Cup winners scored in either half.
“They ( Dream FC) got their chances and converted them, especially in the first half.
We had a load of chances in the second half but unfortunately, we couldn’t convert those chances,” Eguma told reporters after the game.
“That was our greatest undoing today and I think we have to go back and work on those areas and come back stronger in the next game.”
The Port Harcourt club occupy second position on the Group C table behind Tunisia’s Club Africain. READ ALSO:

Rivers United will welcome Club Africain on Sunday, December 10, in their next game in the competition.
