Rivers United thrashed Angola’s Academica Do Lobito 3-0 in their CAF Confederation Cup Group C clash at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Sunday night.
Rivers United top the group with three points albeit on goal difference ahead of Club Africain of Tunisia.
Stanley Eguma’s side took the lead through Samuel Antwi on three minutes with Paul Odeh providing the assist.

In the other Group C game, Club Africain of Tunisia defeated Ghana’s Dreams FC 2-0.
Rivers United will face Dreams FC in their next game at the Cape Coast Stadium next week Sunday.
