Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis insisted there are no problems with Victor Osimhen’s contract extension.
Osimhen has been in talks over a new deal with the Partenopei for several months but has still not reached an agreement.
The Nigeria international’s contract expires in June 2025.
His agent Roberto Calenda sparked speculation last week when he threatened to sue the Partenopei due to a TikTok video seemingly mocking his client.
De Laurentiis is however upbeat the talismanic striker will soon put pen to paper on a new contract.
“Osimhen is always strong, there are no doubts about him,” De Laurentiis said after Napoli’s 3-2 defeat to Real Madrid. READ ALSO:

“New contract? Yes, there is no problem. There is never a problem. Everyone is always happy at Napoli. It’s their [players’] problem when they leave because they no longer find their path.”
