Nigeria’s Falconets have sealed a place in the third round of the qualifiers for the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

The Falconets qualification was confirmed after their opponent Mauritius withdraw from the qualifying race.
Mauritius qualified for the second round of the qualifiers after earning a walk over against Chad.
The Falconets made it to the quarter-finals at the last edition of the World Cup.

Two teams will represent Africa at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia.
The Falconets were U-20 World Cup finalists in 2010 and 2014, losing to Germany on both occasions.
