Ogbonnaya Okemiri has been named chief scout of the Nigeria Premier Football League side Abia Warriors.
Okemiri is expected to resume duty at the club with immediate effect ahead of the commencement of the 2023-24 NPFL season.
The former defender would arguably be ranked as one of the best players to have played in the Nigerian top-flight.
Okemiri played for Enyimba, Abia Warriors, Kwara United and Nasarawa United during his active days.

He was part of the Enyimba squad that won the CAF Champions League title in 2003 and 2004.
