Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro says it was a good thing that Victor Osimhen remain at Serie A champions Napoli.
Osimhen was linked with a move away from Napoli all summer.
European big guns; Manchester United, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich were all rumoured to be interested in the Nigeria international.
But Osimhen opted to continue his stay at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.
Peseiro stated that it was a good for Nigeria that Osimhen remains at Napoli.
“But Victor is very happy in Napoli. For his growth path, staying in Europe and showing off in the Champions League remains the best way. He is young and has time to prove his talent,”he told Italian news outlet, Gazzetta dello Sport. READ ALSO:

“Then I understand that in the face of certain offers one can waver: two seasons in Arabia are worth more than ten in Europe, but money is not everything. Victor has improved a lot in Italy.”
