Nigeria’s Oluwatobiloba Amusan has reacted to her victory at the Eugene Diamond League.
Amusan won her third consecutive Diamond League title after emerging tops in the 100m women’s hurdles on Sunday night.
The 26-year-old won the race in a season’s best time of 12.33s.
Jasmine Camacho-Quinn of Puerto Rico was second in 12.38s, while Keni Harrison of the United States of America came third in 12.44s.
Amusan is the second woman to win the 100m hurdles event in the Diamond League for three successive years, emulating Dawn Harper-Nelson, who won it in 2012, 2013 and 2014.
”I came out here and said it’s my race to lose and I will give my all. I said it’s 200 or nothing, because 100 %, I am not winning today. So I came out here and I told God to give me the strength,” she was quoted by Making of Champions.
“I said this (racing in Eugene) is God’s track. I came here I’m like ‘this is my track, I’m going to dominate’ and God did just that. READ ALSO:
