Carney Chukwuemeka has scooped Chelsea’s Goal of the Month award for August.
The Nigerian-born born player was overwhelming voted for by fans of the club ahead Raheem Sterling , Nicolas Jackson, Zak Sturge and Leo Castledine to the award.
Chukwuemeka scored a spectacular goal in the Blues 3-1 defeat to Aston Villa.
The youngster moved past a number of West Ham defenders before slotting the ball beyond Alphonse Areola.
The midfielder won 60 percent of the votes, while Sterling two goals against Luton Town took second and third position. READ ALSO:

Chukwuemeka sustained an injury in the game and is expected to return to action early October.
