Mr Felix Gbolade, the Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Ebonyi says the Command will soon reactivate its medical unit.
Gbolade made the disclosure in Abakaliki on Monday during a meeting with senior officers of the command.
He said that the decision was to cater for the health needs of the personnel, adding,” it will also help us to enhance service delivery.”
The commandant urged the health unit to prepare a list of items detailing the minimum requirements to reactivate the health unit.
”The rejuvenated unit will be located at the command’s annex along Town Planning Road to ensure easy access to personnel,” he said.
Gbolade urged the senior officers to be a good example to others in order to enthrone decency within the system.
”You have to conduct yourselves in a manner that will encourage junior officers to behave properly, you are their role models,” he said.
He cautioned the officers against unlawful arrests and detention of suspects, and urged them to always ensure proper documentation.(NAN). READ ALSO:
