Turkish Super Lig, Caykur Rizespor have announced that Nigeria midfielder Okechukwu Azubuike will spend time on the sidelines following an injury.

The former Olympic Eagles captain has undergone a successful surgery after sustaining an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
The 27-year-old will spend around six to nine months on the sidelines due to the setback.
Azubuike only moved to Caykur Rizespor in January.
The player was previously on the books of another Turkish club, Istanbul Basaksehir.
Azubuike won the Turkish Super Lig title with Istanbul Basaksehir in 2020.
He has also played for Turkish clubs, Sivasspor and Yeni Malatyaspor. READ ALSO:
