The Super Eagles of Nigeria will face Bafana Bafana of South Africa and Squirrels of Benin Republic in Group C of the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Benin Republic are coached by former Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr.
The three other teams in the group are Zimbabwe, Rwanda and Lesotho.
The winners of this group will qualify automatically for the World Cup, while the runners-up stand a chance to be involved in a playoff for an extra ticket for Africa.
PROMPT NEWS reports that the qualifiers will begin on November 13, 2023.
The Super Eagles failed to qualify for the last edition of the competition hosted by Qatar.
