The President of Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Ibrahim Musa Gusua has charged the incoming Sports Minister to build on the legacy of outing minister Sunday Dare for his numerous achievements.
Gusau while interacting with Prompt News, said based on available resources at his disposal and judging by new records both national and international, I sincerely believe Dare has done well.
” Managing sports federations is not an easy task. Sourcing funds for athletes to attend competitions , qualifying for major championships . Developing and improving the existing sports facilities, ensuring that certain things are in place before, during and after competitions. Also managing federations crisis and couple with litigations , Dare should be given path on the back”.Gusau said
The NFF Boss further stated that the incoming sports minister should be a person with passion for sports and should ensure that he or she improve on the existing achievements of Sunday Dare.
He urged the incoming Sports Minister should review certain policies of administering sports to meet international standard.
